FINAL RESOLUTION

Hello everyone! This will be my final resolution of the blog, my final post in this blog!

I'm very happy because it means that we have almost finished the course and now all of us will begin a new stage in our life.

First of all I will comparate the first post I've made in first of batxillerat with my current posts, the post that I choose is this one: http://juliaengilsh.blogspot.com.es/2012/11/rithmic-gymnasts.html.
I think that in this post I've expressed my feelings about my sport, now I don't do it anymore because I've had a lot of hours of training and I could not have enough hours to study...

Well I think that this post is pretty well written but I've notice an increment in my level because I remember that last year I take much time to do a post and I need help, but now I can write a good writing alone and much faster. My posts are longer and I write with more maturity, I choose too topics more interestings for adults because I think that I've matured a lot this year.

I choose this new because I think that my news in the second term were very elaborated because I wanted to make them very well and I have invested a lot of time making them.

In this new I can see much more maturity, new words that I've introduced in my vocabulary and in general a more better writing and elaboration. Phrases are good linked and in general I'm proud of those increases.

My opinion about the blog method:

In one hand I think that this method is very good for students to catch a good habit writing english posts frequently. Pesonally I could see an increment in my posts and in my mature writing.

I think it motivates sutdents to see how you can reach a better vocabulary and writing in your own.

The news were very helpful because you must read, understand the text, summarize it and then give your opinion, it is a lot of time but at the end you will se that it is good time spend.

In the other hand I think that we spend a lot of time doing blog at home and most of students do it in the last week, I sometimes have done it too but I have tried to avoid it because if you do it with time you learn a lot more.

I think too that english classes must not me so much centered in wiritting we must learn to talk and express our selves with english because it is what we will use in the outside world, more classes must be inverted in speaking.


Tips for the next bloggers!

If you want to create a good blog and having a good mark in my opinion you must to be motivated to do it, don't leave it for the last week and try to bring it up bacause you will learn a lot!

Acomodate the blog with your stile, you will feel your self more confortable and you will be more satisfied!

I hope the tips will be usefull, but really this are obvious things that help a lot!

And this was my last post in the blog, I'm so excited to begin a new stage in my life and I'm proud of my work in this blog!

Eternal love?

Falling in love is part of our life, it can happen everywhere and really, with everyone.
You can be similar, extremely different... The feelings are uncontrolled.
You can fall inlove with someone for a short time, for a longest time or for ever.

What I really like is that the marriages nowadays are for real love, not for money or family interests, there can be exceptions but majority people marry for love.

In my view I want to be the whole life with the man that I marry I didn't want to have to separate us, I want to be very in love all life of the same person and of corse being loved.

I think that this right is very important, we mustn't discriminate someone only for his physical, we must apreciate him like the others because it will be a wonderful person like the others.

I think that this right is not so aware in the mind of the people who don't think very far, they only give the guilt to emigrans that they didn't have work and things like that.
They must to open they're eyes, don't do that anyone feels bad of your discriminatory words because they're rights and putting your self above the other is not moral, you're violating a right.

I am Marina Salinas and I am writing to you to express my opinion about the abortion law.

I think that we are going back in time, this law was abolished a long time ago, when society understood that women had rights as men. I believe that it is very sad that this law will be accepted one more time in the 21st century because in my view, women can decide about their bodies and nobody can take this right away.

We are talking about human rights, they can not be violated, so as a women I talk with experience because when I was 16 I get pregnant and I could abort. When I look back and think if I could not do this, my life would be distroyed, with 16 one does not know anything about life yet.

Pride & prejudice

"Pride & prejudice" is a title of a novel and now they have done the film of it.


This novel is situated long time ago in the 18th century , and the main problem of it is caused by Elisabeth and Mr.Darcy.

They love each other but Lizzy had too much pride and prejudice them selves, Darcy had a lot of pride too because he came from a very rich family and Lizzy's family was modest.


In the novel we can see that it based in old times for the clothing, the formal vocabulary, the transport vehicles, the way how they see life...

The clothing is very different than nowadays, they dressed more formal and girls went always with dresses or long skirts, they never show in public their legs or shoulders.

It is very different than today people doesn't dress formal, girls can go with short dresses and with jeans like boys. Now we haven't prejudices for others type of clothes, we can't see if anyone comes from a rich family for the kind of dress.

In the film the characters were very formal, they spoke with a lot of respect to everybody and of course to their parents, they also treat other people with formalisms like Mr or Mrs.

How we could apreciate in the film they haven't any cars or buses, they always moved by a carriage pulled by horses. Traveling was very long for them so they didn't have the opportunity to travel so often like now.

In those centuries they saw the life different, they only thing that young girls must to marry to some man than comes from a rich family and have children early, contrary today we only thing to have a good future with a good job, marry to someone that we love and have children later when we have done our life.

Oral presentation TdR

Hello I’m Julia and today I will expose you my research Project. The title of this is “Botanical tour of Castelló d’Empúries” but to be more specific we could say that it is from the Muga’s natural way, starting in geese’s way and ending in the beach, Muga is the name of the river and it’s very important because it is the river that will accompany us all the way.

It results me very interesting this issue because there aren’t any botanicals tours in this area and I had no botanical knowledge and I’ve think that this project would help me to acquire them. For these things I decided to do this project.

To start the methodology we must fix the objectives first and those will bring us to create it.

My principal objective is write a guided botanical tour so that anyone can perform it, showing the principal trees that we found and adding information about them like histories, legends, curiosities, uses, botanical information…

To start the project I went to the promenade, doing photography’s, writing the vegetation that I’ve found left and right and mark reference points.

In second place I must identify the specimens, with the photos and botanical guides, This part bring me a lot of work because I had to compare the more relevant characteristics.

One time I have these trees identificated I search for information about this vegetation.

At last I’ve written the tour and all the rest of the project.

My project is divided in 7 principal parts and into those there are subsections.

The first part of the project is for introduction were I expose my personal objectives and opnions about the work.

The second is about General characteristics, here we can found two subsections, the first is about Geese’s way and Muga and the other of the principal’s trees structure.

The third part’s name is general sections where I’ve written the itinerary, I’ve divided the natural way in five parts so it is easier to follow the explanation. I’ve added a photo like this from the google earth and I’ve make the way were we must go through.

One time I’ve finished the itinerary the other part denominated characteristics includes two subsections. The first are the edifications that I’ve found in the road and the second one is about the vegetation. Giving all the information about them, all the photos that you can find in the project are done by my from the trees in the road.

One time this part is finished, the next point is about conclusions. I will talk about them later.

The penultimate point is the bibliography, and for finish the project we can find attached with a collage with some photos of the tour.

At last I only wanted to say that I’m very satisfied to have done this project because I’ve learned a lot, I had an important practical part this was very good in the summer.

Self-evaluation: 

I liked my presentation, I think I've said all what I wanted to mention.

Course I was very nervous and I talked very fast but I vocalizated good so I don't thing there weren't any problems to understand me.

In general I'm very satisfied with my oral!:)

Internet for a better world

How we all know internet has become very important this last years, and we all can predict that it would be our future or an important part of it, didn't we?


But will this be better?

We all know that internet is a wonderful tool for having informations and a lot of different things but it can become very dangerous. Many people are or have been internet victims, anonimous people has loaded private photografies or videos about them, this type of photos run very fast on the net and in a few minutes it can be saved and seen for lots and lots of people.

This type of "internet bulling" is very difficult to stop because you never could know who has saved those informations or if it is posted in some other place.


This problems happens nowadays and in one future it would be more potentiated, so I think that we would need a lot of specialized people like lawyers only for internet cases.

There are a lot of hackers too, internet is so potent that nobody can have it controlled everybody is allowed to browse in it and it is dangerous.

Revising my opinion, internet is a very useful tool but it must to be used correctly and many people can't do it so in my view it may be controlled by somebody, controlling everyday who wants to create a new page and what they want to introduce in it.

Reserch project

We live near an important natural space, if you think about it you will see that it is very interesting to made a guiated road from Castelló d'Empúries to Empuriabrava's beach going through this natural way knowing more about it.
The main objective of this reaserch project is create a botanical itinerary talking about the more important specimens and giving informacions about it, not only bontanical informations, adding histories, uses, curiosities, legends...
It's nice and interesting to know more about this beautiful place that it's so near, and that we dind't give the necesary importance to it.
The practical part was very important and fun.

Oral presentation

Hello, good morning, we are Julia and Judith and now I will talk about Humor.

To begin with I will ask you if you know what humor is?  Humor is the quality that makes something laughable or amusing.

Humor is really important in our lifes because it helps us to deal with the difficult moments. Apart from this laughing it’s very important for everyone, doctors discovered that optimistic people live longer than others, and of course a happier life is better than miserable life.

This title that we have wrote here “Laugh for not cry” it’s a popular topic that people say when they are sad or in a bad situation and they want to face problems with optimism.

Most of the people don't want to express their sad feelings, so they laugh to hide their real feelings.

We have searched in internet opinions of different people about why they like to make other people laugh. We have found an interesting answer from a boy, he said that he likes to make laugh because he loves to see other people happy. When he sees someone sad the first thing he does is trying to make him smile, what this boy does it by telling them his problems with optimism so they don’t feel that they are alone.

In conclusion he said that he wouldn’t be happy if he couldn’t make other people laugh.

With this example we can see that majority of humans are happier if they have people to love and be aprecied from others, too, a person needs to be loved by others.

Now we will show you different types of humor that we can utilize, there are lots.

We will explain you a few examples:

Types of humor :

-Whitemood: this type of humor is driven by surprise factors

-Hacker mood: this humor is exclusive for informatics experts, they usually enter in codes of official pages and do jokes for companies and others.

-Crudemood: This is characterized by producing laughter from the shame of others

-Black mood: tries to make people laugh from death issues and similars

- Green mood: however, is linked to sexuality and often touching obscenity.

Finally we will center our project in an absurd mood, to make this presentacion a little bit more funny we tell you 3 different areas where people can uploade videos and show you examples.

The absurdmood is mainly doing absurd things (as the name says) to make fun on others

The different areas we will show your are: youtube, ads and funny movies.

This is an internet space where people can upload videos, there are many people that put funny videos to make other people laugh and to be a little more popular.

The advertisement is to sell a product, service, company or character. Take the idea of ​​getting immersed in the minds of consumers and make them believe that they are offering to buy it.

One of their strategies is to make absurd ads to capt the atencion of the consumers, for example the coca-cola ad

How we have seen this ad has nothing related to cocacola it only tries to be funny.

Doing this they capt a lot of consumers. Another thing what they do a lot is creating a simple mealody in which sticks to people.

In the adult movies the main resourse to make people laugh is when the characters go wrong or go to anunconfortable situation.

On the other hand in the kids movies they use imaginary characters and make them look stupid and they include parts where the characters sing and dance in ridiculous ways.

To conclude our presentacion we think that life is really hard but if we take it with humor it will be easier and we will be happier.



SELF EVALUATION:

 Our presentation how you could see was about humour.

In my opinion we have done a nice oral, the content was good. We didn't wanted to do a boring presentation and we catch the most important and interesting informacion.

We put videos to show the examples too and that did the presentation funnier.



In general I think it was very good, what I must to improve is my pronuncacion.

And like the others I must be more relaxed talk a little bit slower.

Is humor necessary?

Why did people say that laugh is very important? Experts have done a lot of experiments about people's humor, they have seen as a result that happy people live more years than sad people. Moreover people with any types of illnesses get better faster if they accept their health situation  and they want to overcome this with happiness.
We must take life with positivism, we will be happier and our health will impruve.

First of all you must be happy with your self, then when you feel confident you must make friends. People with friends are allways happier. You begain to be positive so other people will like to be with you and they will rise their positivism too.
To have funny moments you can watch funny videos or films, go party with friends, telling jokes,...

As a result I think that people with a funny life is happier that sad people and that we all must try to laugh minimum one time a day.
However there is only one life and it is not worthit to spend our life having concerns!

Hello Elisabet!
I'm Júlia. We know each other a little bit because in 2nd ESO, you were my english teacher too but it was few years ago.
I live in Empuriabrava and I really like it, it's a very nice place.

My short-time goals are finishing "batxillerat" and of course be proud with my marks.
In this time I'm also trying to be more organized, before I was a disaster with organisation but now I really feel better with my self and I'm happier. I know this is not so important to tell but I think that it is a thing that causes me a lot of stress and now I'm proud to tell it.
The long time goals are a little bit more complicated because I'm not really sure what I want to do and I know that things can't go always like everybody wants but we can try.
I think that I will study ostheopaty it is a really really interesting job, I know a woman who works like this and it is really amazing I hope that one day I can do the same. My motivacion to study osteopathy are a woman that has this job she is called Lola and my mum.
In a more long time I hope to live in Barcelona I love this city!

Looking back in my blog

Looking back in my blog I've seen an improvement of my English level.
Last year I have taken more time for doing the blog, because a lot of words I didn't can translate to English so I must to utilize a the translator a lot, this year I had more fluidity and I could make best entries in the blog.
I don't know if you can see and improvement of my level, but I know that I musn't check the translator so many times and I go faster writing or reading a text.
I have traied to look witch is my best activity but I really don't know I like some of my activities, I think they are on the same level..

I don't like doing news, but I think that it is the activity that I've learnt more. Because it was reading a text and than doing a summary and giving my opinion, it was productive.
The activity that I thing that it isn't useful are the your says, we can do 3 your says but 6 is too much, at the end we don'y know about what talk. Doing news we use new vocabulary but doing your says we always use the same vocabulary and words.

How I've saied before doing news is the most productive activity, I don't like doing it, but it is interesting I have to accept it. It is very productive

We have almost learnt to respect our world

We have only one world, and we must respect it. Scientists have seen that if we continue like this we will destroy our natural habitat.
In my opinion people in this generation is more conscious now with this fact than in the past generation, and we are bigining to act against pollution.

People are respecting more our world, we must do more but it is a long and difficult progress.
In the end we all know that to overcome this we must be together and that each of uns has to take care of the envioranment, it can't only be one person, or one nation, it must be each and every person in the world.
It seems to me that we can reach this deal if we put a little effort.
For example what makes me angry is that a lot of people who wan't to change our world gives it for lost.

In conclusion I think that if everybody does a little bit, our world will change a lot, we are going on the good thack and if we don't give it for lost one day we will have the most beautiful world

The paradise

 

 I love this picture, I feel like it was the paradise.

Most importantly we can see a house in the middle of a lake that really makes the picture look good.
What I really love about the image is the nature that surrounds the lake, it looks very green and natural.
This house impacts a lot because it's in the middle of nowere.
The picture really reminds me when i was little and I went with my grandad to a house that he had in germany in a lake too, it was amazing in winter when in was frozen and we could skate on it.

In the front on the picture we can see a lot green nature, we can also distinguish purple flowers.
Then in the center there is a little island where is the red house that reminds me to my gradfather's house.
At last in the back ground whe can see more green nature, there is a mountain.

Oral presentacion

The presentacion was good, the body language too but I was very nervious and I look a little bit the paper.
I think that the structure of this project was very good because it was interesting, Alex does the gerneral informacion about this country and I did interesting facts so the content was good.
In languatge it was good but some words I didn't pronunciate it very good.

So I think the note must to be an 7 or 8.

Tatiana, a good friend

Tatiana is a very good friend of mine, we know each other for more than nine years. She is living now in Castelló and she is really happy there. She is always suporting me and I help her too.

Tatiana is a very happy person, she is always laughing.
She is very kind to other people and particulary to animals, she loves them! She is a very strong-willed person.

She's rather fair-skinned but on the other hand she's got very curly brown dark hair. She is very thin and long-leagged.

I like her so much because she is very impulsive and I always can tell her my problems, she is so nice!

We are friends since the first time that we met.

My oral presentacion, my travels and dreams

 Hello I'm Julia, I put this title to my presentacion because I want to talk about the travels I've done yet and the ones that I want to do in one future.
First of all, the first time that I travelled by plane was in 2002 I went to Germany, I've got family there so it wasn't the first time that I was there but the other times I went by car beacuse I was little and I was affraid to fly. In this photo you can see me, my two sisters and my cousins from there.

One time I flied I don't was afraid any more and I insist my parents to bring us to another travel so in the same year they bring us to Tenerife. I was very happy and it was very exaiting for me because I'll never see similar beaches before.

In 2003 we went to London, here you can see me and my sister Miriam infront a red bus, tipical from London. We visited several things but what I like most was Sherlock Holmes home

In 2004 we went to Lanzarote I don't remember ant things but I only know that the weather was not very good. Here you can see a photo of me and my two sisters in "La cueva de los verdes", a tipical place to visit.

In 2005 my parents decided to not travel by plane so we took a cruise, we went to Jamaica, la Habana, Mexico this photos wew tooken there.

In 2006 we returned to Mexico because my parents liked so mutch and they take us with them. In 2007 we went to Istambul it wasn´t hollidays it was more for knowing culutre and it was a little bit bored but it was good.
I don't have found any photos from this two lasts but they were good too.

In 2009 I went for the first time to Punta Cana, I think it was one of the bests travels that I do because the beaches were wondelful and the people was it too.
This first photo was tooken next to de pool with a domestic parrot of the hotel and in this other you can see me and my mum next to de beach.

Two years later, me, my mum and my sister went to Tenerife this ones were a very short hollidays because my mum had free from de work and she decided to took us with her to relax our selves.

One year later, in 2011, me and my gymnastics club went to Finland.
In the first photo you can see me and a friend doing rhytmic gymnastics it was for ans exibicion and in the second, here I am, it was gymnastics stetics
The first one is for an exibicion and the second one for the competicion.

And finaly I would talk about my traveling dreams.
If I could choose a place to go for having hollidays, beeing at the beach and some other thinks I would choose Punta Cana, because it was one of the bests hollidays for me because the people was very nice and its all so wonderful.
And if I could choose a place to go for knowing a bit more culture I would go to China because its a very different place from here and I will know more about it because I don't know anything . I think that the houses and all its very different and beautiful.

Self evaluation:

1- How I present my work.
I think that my work was good, I really put a lot of time to prepare it. I present it so good as I could.
And I think that it could be a little bit better but I'm really proud of it.

2- Body Language.
I utilized a good vocabulary, every time that I speack before I think how could I make it better and speack good. Finaly I think that it could be better too but it was good.

3- Structure.
I structured my blog with years, every travel I did.
And my prezi was a island were the travels were on it in order (simillar a treasure map).
I think I structured very good my presentacion and that de prezi was very original and nice.

4- Content.
I put a lot of thinks in my work but its true that I could put more thinks and explain more about all my travels because I do it a little bit general.
But I think that the work was interesting however.

5- Language.
I think that my language is good but it could be better. Because some times I say wrong things for exemple:
I don't was afraid any more it isn't don't it is wasn't, and some other things like this.
I could better my language a lot but I think it is good.

6-Pronunciacion.
I've got a good pronunciacion because my mother is from Germany and I can speack it, English's pronuncacion and German's are very simillar.
But even so I pronunced bad "culture".

Hello Lourdes, my name is Júlia and I live in Empuriabrava a very nice place!

I'm sixteen years old and I love my pets. I've got a cat called Tommy. He's very funny and lovely, he's awesome!
I also do sports, I train rithmic gymnastics for 6 years and I like it very mutch, but it's really hard and in the competicions I'm very nervious!

I like to hear music too, sing, go out with my friends and some other things.
When I finish shcool I would like to go to the university and study phisiotherapy for athletes, because I always loved sport and I admire and respect the other people who train hard too.
