On April
16th a ferry from South Korea sank between Seoul and a southern island of Jeju.
There were about 490 passengers and crew on board, most of them children and
teachers from a school in Seoul.
They
don’t know the reason for the sinking but the captain instructed the passengers
to stay in their cabins and not to leave and in the end they could not escape.
There are about 300 people missing or dead.
I think
this is a tragedy and I am very sorry for the people who died and their
families who suffer so much. It impacted me that they found teenagers tied
together with their lifejacket cords because they were afraid to get separated
and then they died together. It is so sad.
